i have a new role model

the old one was marc antony from julius caesar.. cuz he was the greatest orator to ever live, according to shakespeare...

but now... NOW...

it's henry david thoreau. of civil disobedience. it has been said he was

"A man who loved so deeply and completely that he seemed, sometimes, not to have loved at all"

not only that, but the guy was an intellectual, transcendentalist genius.

if you can, i highly suggest you read "The Night Thoreau Spent In Jail"... it's badass funny, deep, and gripping.

thoreau always sticks out compared to the rest of the historical figures...i just remember that he dodged the draft..or something. i always thought that was pretty ballsy. and that he lived in some remote wilderness area in a one room cabin. and shot squirrels or some shit.

you couldn't be more correct. however, thoreau has so much more to him... he was all about nature and shit... in the wierdest but most profound ways i've ever heard of... seriously, the guy knew his shit... i'm jealous time 30
